Just a note to say thanks for the great stay at your resort in July! It was so quiet and relaxing, the scenery beautiful, and the cabin was perfect. The only thing that would have made it better is if your area had been blessed with more rain, so the river level would have been higher. Nonetheless, we still had a great time swimming, fishing and floating in the the deeper pools. We'll definitely come back! The cabin was comfortable, extremely clean, with all the amenities, which made for a truly pleasant stay! To you, Dennie and Ray, along with the park hosts, a big thank you! You all were extremely hospitable and friendly and could not do enough for us! Coming from cold, snowy, Ontario, Canada, to a resort in Texas, was a rare experience for us. The stay at Rio Bonito helped to make our Christmas experience with our family in Texas, a very memorable one. We would fully recommend to family and friends that Rio Bonito Resort is a great experience. We look forward to future visits to Texas. Not only are the cabins clean, but the outside as well. This is a very comfortable, serene place to vacation. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean, and the river was among the clearest we had ever seen. The kids had a great time and had to be dragged out kicking and screaming when it was time to go home! We particularly appreciated the wonderful amenities and the flawlessly natural state of the property and river. Rio Bonito is definitely one of Central Texas' best kept secret, but we're guessing not for long! Thanks again for the wonderful weekend...we'll definitely be back! We feel so lucky to have found a spot where the kids and I could stay in a cabin, and my in-laws could be close by in their RV. You were so accommodating by allowing the RV to pull up close to the cabin, creating our own little nook on the property. We did not expect to swim in March, but we did! You have such a beautiful stretch of the river on your property, the pictures on the website do not do it justice. I wish we could have seen the dinosaur tracks. We had a camp fire each night and saw a shooting star one night. Ray, you were such a fabulous host, we will certainly be back soon. FYI ************************************************************************************************************************** You have one fabulous spot to relax and rest. This place is AWESOME. The cabins are spotless and great. My husband and I did not want to leave at all. The river is so clear you can see all the way to the bottom, even in the deep. We will be back and bring our grandkids next time to play. We found the hidden waterfall it is great. Rio Bonito Cabin Resort is a little piece of HEAVEN on earth. The river is absolutely beautiful and I challenge your future guests to find the "hidden" waterfall. My favorite thing we did! The cabin exceeded my expectations. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and it was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the attic and it was a perfect place for them to sleep. You are very lucky to have such a gorgeous property. We will definitely be guests again sometime! The river was nice also and was flowing pretty fast due to the amount of rain. However, the water was so tempting we got in anyway and "Had a Blast"... Also, thank you for having the kitchen supplied with utensils. It made the cabin so pleasant and certainly met our expectations. We will definitely be back for another weekend getaway. My Grandchildren fell in love with the place and did not want to leave.The river was great. The most fun was going past the bridge and riding the rapid and floating back to the cabin. I was so glad to find a cabin that had a kitchen that was furnished so well. We could not find the right fishing spot this time, but we will be back in search of the right place. And yes, we did find the WATERFALL!! Sandra and Family to Cabin Resort, It was so nice to get away and relax. This place was the best to take care of my relaxing needs.
