Looking for a good scare this Halloween? The Nightmare on Jail Hill Haunted House has you covered. This isn’t your average haunted house. The location, the Old Williamson County Jail, actually held prisoners from 1889 to 1990 and is rumored to be haunted. It even made an appearance on the TV show “Ghost Hunters!”
The haunted house is open Fridays and Saturdays from October 12th-20th between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Proceeds go to the Brown Santa program. This non-profit program provides assistance to low income and impoverished families in Williamson County, using donations for toys, book, and other items to help children have a better Christmas.
For more information on the haunted house and the Brown Santa program, visit their event page here. Please note that the jail is not handicapped accessible.
