Fall is a great time to visit the Hill Country and stay with us at Rio Bonito. As the weather gets milder and leaves start to turn, you’ll find a cornucopia of events to choose from! One we’re really looking forward to is the Sweet Eats Fruit Farm Fall Fest.
Sweet Eats sits on the east side of Georgetown on the San Gabriel River and features a gorgeous orchard and 100+ year-old pecan trees. During Fall Fest, the farm will have a large number of daily activities to keep the kids entertained. They’re sure to love regular farm activities like riding the ponies, the bouncy pad, and the petting zoo, among others. The season also brings a large pumpkin patch and hay rides to enjoy.
But kids aren’t the only ones who’ll love Fall Fest. Sweet Eats has parents covered too with live music, local food trucks, and adult beverages. Be sure to check out Sweet Eats’ website for more details and a schedule of the performers. You’ll also want to check their Facebook page before you head out for closure updates due to weather. Fall Fest ends December 10th, with live reindeer and pictures with Santa. You won’t want to miss out!
