Rio Bonito Cabin & RV Park’s fantastic location in the Texas Hill Country means you’re close to all the attractions that make the area great. But if you’re looking for fun without venturing too far from your cabin or RV, there’s nothing like our resort and our home town of Liberty Hill.

Since Liberty Hill is nestled between the north and south forks of the San Gabriel River, the area boasts some great nature views. In fact, our resort’s own fourteen acres right on the river will give you plenty of opportunities to enjoy afternoon walks and picture-perfect sunsets across the big Texas sky. If the river’s high enough, grab your float and relax in the water. You can even fish right on property and cook up the catch of the day that night!

We know you’ll love relaxing at Rio Bonito, but sometimes you need to get out for a bit. For a truly unique experience, check out Liberty Hill’s own Winkley’s General Store. It really does have almost anything you could need, from new boots to a chicken coop. You’re sure to find that perfect gift or something you didn’t even know you needed. Plus, it’s a lot of fun to browse! For more information, go here.

The Liberty Hill International Sculpture Park is another unique local attraction. It makes for a nice place to take a walk and is sure to interest art lovers. In 1976, local artist Mel Fowler organized an international sculpture symposium in celebration of the United States bicentennial, featuring the work of twenty-five sculptors from six different countries. These sculptures are now on display to the public for free in the park. There are two methods of accessing the park, at Liberty Hill Intermediate School and the Lions Foundation Park.
